If you’ve been following Streetstyle blogs during this Fashion Week season, you’ll have noticed the trend of megawatt colors outside the runwayshows. The trend seems to be going towards big accessories, structures and patterns but the combination of flashy colors, flashy design and overaccessorized fashionistas is just not my cup of tea. I prefer the clean-cut design accentuated with some color – a style that won’t stress your visual sense. In fact, the minimalist-neon combination soothes the overfashioned brain like homemade lemonade on one of these first hot Spring days.

Too much of visual stimulation may lead to feelings of deep confusion and sensory overload:) That´s why I don´t like Pollock. I´m all for one piece that´s standing out instead of standing out because of too many pieces:) Cheers!

I love the neat and minimal color trend but tja I’m much too much in love with patterns 😉

I love patterns as well but looking at the streetstyle blogs, I had an extreme sensual overkill. Neon + patterns + lack of clear structure = simply killed the fun for me. I think I prefer to go with the minimalistic approach here.

This is such a lovely way to wear this trend. Kind of amazing neon, something that so often comes across as junior, can look so refined. You have captured it wonderfully.
