10″ GIVEAWAY ::: Atmo And The Lightz

Posted in Uncategorized by strytllng on September 7, 2010

As announced a couple of weeks ago, here is the surprise I’ve been waiting to scream out into the blogosphere: STRYTLLNG WILL GIVE AWAY ONE 10″ DOUBLE CD “ECLECTIC” OF ATMO AND THE LIGHTZ!

I know you want it because not only is the artwork a very decorative collectors item for your home but the music is spot on for this time of the year. Numerous artist with backgrounds in Soul, R&B, Dancehall, Pop and Jazz have gathered with Amir Abadi aka Dr. Atmo to create this smooth music collection arranged with electronic sounds to classic and traditional instruments accompanied by deep strident voices causing a reflection of the last days of summer. I’ve been lying in a hammock under the trees while sunrays are warming me through the waving leaves, cooling off my overheated mind with a jump into a nearby lake, reading under the roof of my balcony while the rain came down or having the first tea on a cold late summer night – Atmo And The Lightz has taken me to all these places since I first listened to it and it will continue to preserve the pictures well into the colder months which are about to come.

Now how do you get your hands on this marvelous piece of mind-travelling? “Eclectic” is available in Concept Stores near you or – and this might be even more attractive – write me a comment with your best summer memory. The winner will be announced next Monday – subjectively and according to what I find the most interesting of course. Go get your fingers typing and GOOD LUCK to all of you.

Spring Court x Dover Street Market

Beauty, beauty, beauty and another beauty.

The label I discovered in Paris as one of my favorite choices when it comes to sporty footwear, Spring Court, has made a special collection for London’s hippest boutique, Dover Street Market. Now this is the time I wish there was a bit more Brit in Berlin.
