The Boyfriend Topic

Posted in Fashion by strytllng on June 3, 2013

Spring? It might not seem that way exactly because the sun hasn’t been out in two weeks and it’s been raining constantly – taking a try on subtropics right now –  but Summer is just around the corner. Since Spring has been the little brother of a too long Winter – body shapes are taking a loooooong way to go back into Summer-mode.

I always have and always will be a big supporter of the boyfriend look. It had a different name growing up with two brothers: being the second in line wearing the grown-out stuff from a way taller person for the next years. Some clothes, I never grew out of and kept them for a long time until the return of skinny. But I soon got tired of skinny – it just isn’t my everyday favorite. Let’s take a closer look at the varieties of the BOYFRIEND STYLE.

Don’t Kill The Messenger

Posted in Uncategorized by strytllng on March 2, 2011

Yes, this is one of these girly posts where I sigh about things I want but don’t need to survive in this world.

99% of you may have the same morning routine: wake up – get up – start the computer – shower/dress/breakfast – check emails. So it happened this morning. I actually looked into my Urban Outfitters newsletter and got hooked on the babies above. Spring is approaching quickly and I have this urge for new members to join my wardrobe club. The dress looks enormously comfortable – unfortunately the shoes don’t. (But that’s not the criteria for gorgeous shoe shopping.) They are not meant to go to fashion week but will be of great use in the city this Summer.

Dear Urban Outfitters: stop sending me your selections – resisting your charm is simply killing me.

Happy Birthday K.

When a beautiful friend from Paris, a frequent visitors of the world’s most stunning beaches and an obsession for fashion with fringes, invites you to celebrate her birthday with an intimate dinner, there was just one idea on my mind: knit her a boho cotton shirt that will work with shorts and a bikini watching the red sun sink into the ocean. It was my first try on something wearable and it took an eternity but it was F.U.N.
