The Boyfriend Topic
Spring? It might not seem that way exactly because the sun hasn’t been out in two weeks and it’s been raining constantly – taking a try on subtropics right now – but Summer is just around the corner. Since Spring has been the little brother of a too long Winter – body shapes are taking a loooooong way to go back into Summer-mode.
I always have and always will be a big supporter of the boyfriend look. It had a different name growing up with two brothers: being the second in line wearing the grown-out stuff from a way taller person for the next years. Some clothes, I never grew out of and kept them for a long time until the return of skinny. But I soon got tired of skinny – it just isn’t my everyday favorite. Let’s take a closer look at the varieties of the BOYFRIEND STYLE.

Sunday Favorite ::: Dungarees
If I could live in them – I would. Dungarees are just the best for occasions such as the weekends, festivals or any other lazy fun day. They scream at me whenever I see one: TAKE ME, I AM COMFORTABLE! Here is a selection of some stylish examples that will allow you to leave the house in them – and not just to go to the bakery around the corner.
The Reformation, Capri Jumper, made from repurposed vintage denim.
Pixie Market, Wythe leather overall. And Zara dungaree.
Always a great place to find denim dungarees: vintage stores and flea markets.
Free People, Straight Eyelet overall.

Earbling ::: Ryan Storer
I got an early birthday wish: Earcuffs by Ryan Storer. The majority of his collection may be sold out but a few pieces are still left – I REALLY want these!!! Rosegold, crystal and pearls – what an amazing combination!

Interior design ::: Classroom Maps
These days I am all about making my home my castle. It took a while to get to a point where it looks like a home but I am not a fan of buying something I might live with for the next years to come just because I need it. Because when does one ever NEED things? (The bed excluded – am a big fan of comfortable sleep.) So even if I used to keep it simple – things just keep coming my way and the decor becomes more and more important to me. I recently stumbled upon an older post of Honestly…WTF. Outdated classroom maps, may it be biology, chemistry or geography, appear to bring a certain nostalgia and bohemia to the home without the kitsch. Does anybody know where to get one?

In Love With Concrete
Hello there!
Remember me? Once a blogette – suddenly disappeared? Yes, that’s me. I haven’t felt much inspiration lately to share any content. And I must admit, I disappeared to a new thing called Pinterest. (Feel the irony?)
But I recently (about 2 years ago) fell in love with this Kreuzberg-based (furniture) designer called Sigurd Larsen. (With his designs that is.) His designs are sublime and minimalistic. He owns the mixture of concrete and wood. As i am in no position to articulate the beauty of his works properly, I’ll simply give you a little taste of it.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do – and PLEASE be gently. This is my first entry in months.

Levi’s XX ::: STOCK SALE
Quiet? Me? Yes. I haven’t blogged much lately but here is a quickie before I return to writing more updates on what happened in these past gazillion years.
If you happen to be in Berlin these days, don’t miss the Levi’s XX stock sale – the prices for the premium brands represented are simply too good to pass on the opportunity. The only thing you need is something similar to a sample size or another extreme… no probs, correct? 😉 #summerapproaching
..:: Hair Accessories ::..
This must have taken a day’s work but these braids with rings look so effortless that I would love to try it some time.
